This contraption is clumsy. Benefits: Vacuums fine dust and hair. Cons: Does NOT vacuum wool carpets. Actually turns off. DOES NOT vacuum yoga mats. Actually turns off. DOES NOT ROLL around small furniture such as bedside tables. Will not penetrate low furniture such as beds that are approximately 9" tall or lower. He is heavy and clumsy. I'm not even sure how you're going to be cleaning stairs with this thing as it automatically shuts off when it's upright. Was looking forward to getting this vacuum cleaner but after a few hours of ownership I'm reporting back. Mainly because it can't handle my wool rugs. If you are looking for a basic vacuum cleaner for rooms with little furniture and no carpets, this is possible. I like the simplicity of the case and the battery. But it's all plastic, and I thought it was metal and strong, like my parents' old vacuum cleaner that would last forever. I doubt it will last a year.
