No wonder the manufacturer's designation says "pull band". It should be "not jerky". I do not recommend taking anything over 2000lbs with this strap. It's not kinetic! Does the seller say "Yes, it will stretch"? The manufacturer does not use the word "kinetic" anywhere in the description** I have not yet tested its 30+k tensile strength and do not have the proper equipment to confirm that number. . I don't want to try to tow 5 tons in my jeep as I'm not in the heavy vehicle rescue business. I bought 2 of these to "double" them just to be sure if I need to save or save myself. I would have no problem with my setup pulling a 4 or 5 kilometer car without worrying about breaking something. Anything else I would call for help.
