I'd love to love this lemon slicer, but that's okay, alas. I love fresh lemons and eat a few every day. I like to slice them open and remove any thin membranes between the slices, so I only eat the pulp. I thought this slicer would make it much faster for me, but it doesn't. Anyway, it was longer. Finally, you need to be careful when cutting, applying light pressure and gently rocking it from side to side. However, when he finally got the hang of it and really started slicing the lemon pretty quickly, I banged my knuckles on the cutting board! I recommend keeping your palm flat on both sides, rather than pressing on either side with your knuckles bent. The good thing is that it can be washed in the dishwasher.
