This is a review from a photographer's point of view. The Dragon Touch Classic15 is an all-black body with a large 15.6-inch display. The first thing that struck me was the aspect ratio. This is a "widescreen" display, meaning it's wider than the typical aspect ratios (4:3 and 3:2) used by most digital cameras. It's nice to have a widescreen display, but since pictures aren't typically captured in widescreen, it's worth considering how best to display them on such a wide frame. I decided to "crop" some of my images to fit the aspect ratio of the screen. , but the display also has an option that does this automatically (full screen). This option "enlarges" images until they cover the entire screen, so you have no control over how images are "cropped" with this feature. Fortunately, the display handles different aspect ratios well. The parts of the screen that are not covered by the images are displayed with the corresponding (to the displayed image) colors, which do not interfere in any way! That's a lot better (in my opinion) than just vertical black lines filling the rest of the screen. Since I also "digitize" square 6x6 medium format images, I found the handling of this "blank" screen area to be fantastic. Adding images to the screen over Wi-Fi using the "FTP server option" is very easy and works great. There is also the option to view images from the SD card, which is fantastic for anyone (like me) who has a large number of images. The display itself is very good, but (in my opinion) seems a bit weak in terms of saturation and contrast. . In a way, this gives the shots an almost "cinematic" look that reminds me of film camera shots (yes, I still use them). I've found that increasing the display brightness to 100% works best for me. I wish there were options to "adjust" the saturation and contrast, but overall I'm still happy with how images look on this photo frame. An aluminum frame instead of a plastic frame would have helped give it a more premium feel, but would also likely have increased the price. Aside from the lack of saturation and contrast adjustments, I think this is a good overall picture frame with a good display. . It offers easy and reliable ways to add images, large internal storage and expansion options (SD cards). It handles images with different aspect ratios perfectly, choosing a better solution than the typical "vertical black lines" that fill the frame when the images themselves aren't wide enough. As for durability, time will tell, but so far I'm very happy with this digital photo frame.
