I just moved into a new house and bought a couple of these just in case I can set up a wired network in my office and AV area. I use them as a bridge repeater to connect to switches to support wired ethernet devices. I have a Ubiquiti Unifi UAP-LR that covers the whole house, patio and street. I have two Unifi UAP-AC_Lite and Unifi AP-AC-LR. I left the air conditioner in my previous house while I installed the new one. I took the Unifi UAP-LR with the idea that this would be a replacement until I moved most of my stuff and then swapped out the three ACs for 2.5 AC-LRs. Well the AC-LR works so well under a table I might as well sell the AC. Updated 10/16/2220. I brought a Unifi AC LR and these things work as inputs for wired switches. I don't expect to ever bother to pull the wire. I get 40 Mbps down and 10 to desktop which is way more than I need.
