Broke on the first day.

I bought belts for children's school uniforms. It came yesterday. I wanted to make sure the belt would fit. So he can wear it on the first day of school. I adjusted the length and tried it on my child. The metal element used to adjust the size of the straps broke off. Now it is too big and there is no way to adjust the size. Now I have to try to track down the belt a few days before school when the stores are full.

Works well, looks easy (in a good way) for picky teens

Cons

An adjustable buckle may require frequent readjustment, which is inconvenient for both the child and the parent.
