I used to attach my iMac to the table leg and frame. Good quality and the vinyl cover protects my iMac from scratches. It's thicker than I expected, but it still worked well for me. I want companies that sell tethers to give us pennies, dimes or quarters to compare thickness. Then I could take a 5mm cable. People need to understand that this is to slow down thieves. No cable stops theft 100%. Cables can be easily cut. The fat ones only stop thieves. First they cut and clean the vinyl, then they start picking the braids one by one and cutting them one at a time. The thicker the cable, the longer it is for them. I only bought this cable to apprehend a possible thief. I just don't like being easy prey and leaving my iMac out in the open to be stolen if a thief breaks in.
