I have to admit I really didn't expect to like these cleats so much. None of the guys I grew up with ever worked with my hair. They looked bad and kept falling out, so I never messed with them. These bobby pins looked different and more like a tiny version of the much larger plastic types that sometimes go well with my hair, so I thought I'd give them a try. To my surprise, they are really, really cute. I can't believe they actually stay in my hair without the pins or my hair falling all over the place. That alone impressed me. Also surprised how well they hide in my hair and you hardly see them. The only thing is that I have brown hair clips and I want them to be a lighter color. I know other types are sometimes offered in bright gold or even silver. I would prefer light gold because it works better with my hair when the particles are visible. Luckily they are good at hiding.
