This is almost what I want. I used another product that was very waxy and it did a good job of preventing my hands from getting bloody in the winter due to my skin becoming dry and chapped and scratching easily. Looking for a replacement for this product. This product contains beeswax but is softer than Vaseline. I would have liked a little more wax, but that's a good thing. Many notice the smell. I don't find the smell unpleasant. I immediately associated it with the saddles. Then I looked at the ingredients and saw why. One of its main components is used in saddles. I prefer this scent to a chemical floral scent. The product takes a few minutes to sink into the skin and after that it feels like it's staying in place. It's not like lotions that always seem to wash off the next time you wash your hands. I like that my hands are soft when I use it. I think this is a good product. If you don't like the smell of saddles, you probably won't like it. But I'm quite happy with it.
