Functionally this is a great hand or foot balm. I have nurse hands that take a beating. This is a deeply nourishing balm for chapped hands. It feels good and after I apply it is not greasy at all. It's also great on the legs. In terms of performance, it's A+. The odor of this product is reminiscent of gasoline or industrial thinner. It's pretty strong. It's not too attractive, so if you buy it you don't have to worry about the smell. I will use it but won't buy it because of the smell.

I really, really wanted to love this product but I couldn't. It works well - I've tried it and my skin is softer. I could see using it in winter when my hands get really bad. However, it smells pretty bad. I think like some other reviewers that it smells like I worked an 8 hour shift at Pep Boys who worked on cars. It has a chemical oil smell that I can hardly match.
