I bought this by accident but decided to keep it. My car has a built-in rear view camera. This works great when I attach a trailer; but as soon as I put it in the drive you lose that view on the display. I plugged it into the 4 pin power harness and the video cable ran to the front of the truck and into the cab with surprising ease. I took mine to a car stereo shop to see if they could figure out how to display it on my Ford Synch 3 dash screen. They said they could do it, but the input adapter cost an outrageous amount of money, so I just improvised. I had an old Android phone that I plugged it into and used the USB camera app and an $8 adapter to check the hitch from time to time while towing my 36ft camper dragged down the street. Peace of mind for less than $30.
