Review on πŸ‘• Big Pacific Poncho for Kids by Charles River Apparel by Chris Chincuanco

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bought for 7 years weighing 52 kg.

He can wear it for years! There's plenty of room with his backpack and then his poncho so the backpack is dry too. It goes between the knee and ankle and doesn't prevent it from catching on the leg and tripping over it.PRO: The material it's made of was NOT what I expected. it's no ordinary plastic. it's like a thin rubber that feels very, very soft. Because of the fabric, it folds up so well it can actually slide back into its little pocket! WAUSER. I haven't often seen that it's possible to bring something back to where it came from! The bag is small enough to fit right on the bottom of a backpack for carrying on days when afternoon rain is expected! even if you wear it to school. We've found it drains water so well that a 7-year-old shakes himself. then hangs in his locker. By the end of the school day he was completely dry and able to fold it up to put in his backpack and go home! ordinary plastic thing stays wet days! Also, the fabric is such that you get caught on something. You can make a hole in it. but it doesn't tear like plastic! CONS: The elastic at the top of the hood works well. but for his age/small head. drawing some more would be helpful! got up well. until he started running towards the bus and the hood kept trying to slide back. when walking it stays pretty good. That would be the only complaint I could see in the clothes. We look forward to enjoying it for years to come!

Pros
  • Underarm pods on the side to create sleeves for freedom of movement and elasticated hood for added wind and rain protection
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
