Review on πŸ‘“ 2SeeLife Large Frame Reader Glasses for Men (+4.0 Diopters) by Tony Cohen

Revainrating 2 out of 5

They didn't last 3 months (the plastic on the legs was peeling and peeling off, the lenses were scratched)

I've been wearing glasses every day for several years. I wanted +1.75 instead of +1.5 and ordered these. I'm 6ft 1" with a big head (I wear XL motorcycle helmets, most hats don't fit me either). The glasses I've had in the past have been a little narrow and the temples curve from the temples to fit my head. Also, the temples were never long enough. Nice, the lenses were as good as most. The frame width was as advertised, they fit the width of my head, and while I wish the legs were 1/4 inch longer, they were better than what I had before. But the bridge of the nose was firm, that can't be all. In general, I was very satisfied in the first 2 months. A few days ago (about 9 weeks after I received them) the plastic has what looks like cracks where the legs go through the ears. I rubbed the cracks with my fingers and the plastic falls off like peeling black paint, lots of peeling black flakes. (I never use anything other than water and half a drop of dish soap to clean my glasses, and I mix my own lens cleaning spray that contains filtered water, 10% isopropyl alcohol, and about 1 drop of liquid dish soap per cup). A drop on my desk scratched the lenses. As I have already said. I've had $20 reading glasses for years and they typically last around 6 months. This pair had pretty good lens focus and clarity (no distortion, good focus and field of view) but they were easy to scratch, does sebum break down the plastic on the stem? and the lenses seemed to scratch too easily.

Pros
  • Lens width: 55 millimeters
Cons
  • Poor instructions
