Power consumption works as advertised and even with a 2TB SSD!

This is a great solution to accommodate a larger SSD than the one that came with your MacBook Pro. I put a 2TB SSD in the slot. Worked great. The only problem is that with the settings in the MacBook, it continues to supply power to the USB-C port, thus draining the laptop battery in sleep mode. Wants to try changing sleep settings but still wants to charge the laptop in sleep mode. Overall very happy with the purchase.
