Well I'm a belt maker who has been making handmade belts for decades. When I started, I had to use whatever tools I could afford. It is now imperative for me to a) use the highest quality tools to make the highest quality products, and b) use only American-made tools and materials to support American workers and women. So if you're hesitant to spend $40 on an edger, don't worry. High quality hardwood wooden handle; larger and feels better in the hand - especially for larger hands, and the fit and finish of the stainless steel blade is superb. Highly recommended!
