Very rich in color, very beautiful. Ideal length width. Comes with a clear stand which is perfect because it can remain hidden. Battery or USB port power option. There's also an option to 'stay' or 'activate' when blinking (which we don't use because of the brightness, it's almost like a strobe light). There is no remote control, that's no problem for us. My daughter has been using it as a night light since her lava lamp broke but recently she's started turning it off right before bed because they are so bright. The brightness is very nice and both my daughter and I love it, but personally I have to sleep in a dark room, if I leave my door open and she puts it on I can see her room and hallway being lit up. (Which is fine but if you want a soft light to sleep in it's just too bright) but I had no problem, she loves it, goes perfectly with her colorful unicorn themed room. . This makes it possible to use batteries or use the USB wall connection. The ONLY thing I don't like about it is that the wires are very thin, hanging isn't a problem, but the wires going to the power adapter are a lot thinner than a phone charger and I feel like with the time will break easily. But for now it's fine, she's had it for a few months now and has no problem with it considering we don't have to touch the nutrition section anyway.
