Great coat! The length was so good. It opens at the bottom if you need more room to move your feet, but I never have to use this feature. It's very light, not bulky. It's nice to put on a winter coat and never feel like a walking marshmallow. I have broad shoulders so I can usually wear small pants (anywhere between a size 4-8) but most coats are tight in the back. for me, this means that the sleeves reach down to the middle of the forearm when i have to grab something. After much thought and reading reviews about this coat, I ordered a small one. It's not as narrow at the shoulders as most small models (thankfully). The great thing about this coat is that it has an inner sleeve/thumb hole. While I can't use the thumb hole (reach and broad shoulders are the issue), the sleeves extend just enough that my wrists are never exposed to the cold. And the gloves fit snugly on the inner sleeve, leaving no gaps for cold air to enter the sleeve. I ordered a gray trade wind (although I believe it used to have a different color name) hoping to get a grey/silver coat to stand out from the crowd of black winter coats. It's definitely got the blue hue of the coat, which I think makes it a little less appropriate to wear with formal attire to the office, but I'll do it anyway. I'll try to attach a photo showing the color. As you can see, it depends on the lighting. I would definitely buy this coat again just in black.
