These are easy to hold but compared to other clippers, I hesitate to use these. I bought these because my old clippers were going dull and I wanted something to cleanly and quickly trim my dogs nails. The first time using these and they got stuck in the middle of a cut. My dog freaked out and luckily after she started wailing her paw around, they flew off without hurting her. I've looked at them for adjustments and will be purchasing a different pair for future trims using these only to nip off the very tip of nails, not fuller cuts.
