I bought this case for my new iPhone 12 Pro Max because I didn't want to spend more than $50 on Apple versions. I like changing the case color from time to time, so it costs a small fortune to buy from Apple. I am very happy with this case so far. The silicone is thick and seems to offer some protection if your phone is dropped. Having used Apple's silicone cases in the past I would say they are of comparable quality. That being said, this isn't a chunky Otterbox Defender case, so there are limits to how well this case protects your phone. The compromise, however, is a sleek phone case that offers good coverage and grip at a reasonable price. For the first few days of use, the case was a bit slippery in the hands, but now it's "broken in" and offers a good grip. The silicone is a lint magnet, but the cover slides in and out of pockets fairly easily and is fairly easy to wash.
