I bought this kennel a few years ago thinking it was well made and would easily support the weight of any of my pets. Have I ever been wrong? I had to take an elderly pet to a vet clinic 200 miles away. Since he was older I chose this kennel so he would have plenty of room to travel. This kennel was required to accommodate pets in the 25 to 30 pound range. However, the top came off the bottom (when I wore it) even though my pet only weighed 11 pounds, despite assembling it according to the instructions and carefully tightening all the mounting screws. When the ground hit the ground, so did my sick pet. Since then I have never used this kennel because I don't trust it. Also, I would never give it away or donate it for the same reason. So for many years this expensive and useless kennel stood in my basement. Needless to say, I would never buy this or any other kennel from this manufacturer.
