Bought this kennel for traveling with a dog, when it arrived it didn't have a handle but otherwise everything was fine. I bought the replacement pen directly from petmate. and it doesn't work. Does the grip area appear to be cut too far? Aside from the lack of a handle, it comes with all the parts, is easy to assemble (it comes with plastic wing nuts so I bought the metal ones to comply with airline regulations) and seems to hold up. We'll see how the trip goes.

A week before flying my dog from the US to the UK, I found that this kennel did not meet all the airline requirements. The mesh must not have holes larger than 2.5 x 2.5 cm and the window screen on the sides must not have horizontal stripes to meet this requirement. Received a 28 inch Ultra Vari kennel and was pleased with our Corgi's color and average size. However, the build was very frustrating and disappointing. I just assembled a Ruff Maxx, also made by Petmate, and the wing nuts that attach and hold the parts together actually have metal threads in the wing nuts. I bought this as a cage for my pup who is now 9 months old and weighs 15lbs. Based on the measurements, the medium appeared to be the right size even when fully grown (I have an adult dog of a similar but heavier spitz breed to compare and measure this dog with).
