I don't like the look of those plastic hutches, but I have a talented and dedicated escape artist (an 11 pound miniature poodle) and I've tried everything I could think of. keep her in something that looked prettier. So I finally gave in and bought it because it had wire window covers, good reviews and my sister recommended it. There are holes in the plastic on the back so I was worried my little escape artist would chew her way out, but so far she hasn't succeeded. It might not be pretty, but it works. And that's all the more important because my little one still has a long way to go before she can run around the house unsupervised during the day.
