FINALLY PROTECTIVE SHOES! I've been disappointed in toddler athletic shoes that don't have a tread. We enjoy hiking with our 2 year old and are concerned about how often his feet slip out from under him on loose gravel trails. Not with these shoes anymore. He calls them his "sticky shoes". They seem comfortable because he also chooses them for everyday wear. They appear to be very well made and I'm not worried that they won't last long. I even had to wash them due to poor potty training and they washed (air dried) well. They are a bit difficult to put on but the heel pull makes a big difference compared to others, that we tried. .
