Recently I've given up cartridge razors altogether (in favor of quality double edge safety razors) for environmental and cost reasons. and aesthetic reasons, but I've been using them for many, many years. I wanted to try this as a handy backup or a possible option for a travel razor. After trying it, I found that it matches the latest cartridge razors from famous American brands that can be found in pharmacies and grocery stores (e.g. the one that starts with the letter "G"). ADVANTAGES: * 5 sharp blades. provide a very close shave in one pass* the cutting edge stretches the skin a bit allowing the 5 blades to cut close together followed by the smear bar* the 5 blades are a bit wider than my 'main brand' of 5 blades which makes it a bit makes it easier to "flush" when trying to squeeze shaving cream out of the holes* the head rotates easily, making it easy to follow contours and shave the chin and jawline in one pass* the handle is long, comfortable , non-slip and ergonomic * all 5 blades carefully checked on all 5 heads - good quality with no nicks or signs of quality issues * heads attach/detach easily and securely (all 5 tested) * transparent blade guard for storage * competitive price for 5 quality 5 -Blade heads with handle. PROBLEMS:* My only concern was that the trailing edge behind the top blade (with smear strip) is slightly larger than the main brand I was comparing it to - I was concerned that this would not get the entire area under my nose limits how far you can raise the top blade. As it turned out, I could get to the area under my nose with no problem, so that wasn't a problem for me; However, this is something that can affect others. SUMMARY: A good quality cartridge razor that gives a very close, smooth and comfortable shave in one pass with no cuts or abrasions.
