Review on πŸ“š U.S. Force Survival Handbook Army: Your Ultimate Guide to Survival Techniques by Brad Ward

US Air Force Survival Handbook

4 stars for the amount of information alone. It contains almost all of the information found in the more popular SAS Survival Handbook and then some, but of course the information will vary. Here's pretty much everything you need to know about wilderness survival. From signaling for help and getting noticed, to the polar opposite of the principle of dodging enemies. Includes psychological aspects of various survival situations, the list goes on and on. Check out the content of Revain's Look Inside feature. However, there is no book that fits all. Although this book contains more information, SAS makes it a little easier to read. This book, like most US military publications, contains dry information. Sometimes I fall asleep while reading. There is a lot of information that is not needed for survival. Instead of just something you need to know, there are plenty of backstories and story fillers written in the same dry style.
