The best I can say about these bulbs is that they actually work with a dimmer. But their performance leaves much to be desired. I found that I had to turn the dimmer all the way down to turn the lights on and then slowly turn them back on to dim them. The dimming effect is non-linear; in other words if you start turning the dimmer up or down the brightness will reach a certain point and then stay at the same level until the dimmer is turned/moved much further and then it suddenly jumps up and starts up again to change. And the effect seems inconsistent from time to time. Also, if there are 2 or more bulbs in a fixture, their brightness will not change at the same rate. I have 2 Ecosmart dimmable bulbs and they work much better.
