My main reason for buying this was to take my two cats (and when they were kittens) on several 15 hour trips. with you. It was comfortable and spacious for the cats even with all that stuff inside and I was glad they had everything we needed. It was durable and survived many escape attempts. It's nice that there are so many screens, and the screens are thick and claw-proof. I added a softer blanket on one side in case it was too hard, but they rarely used that side. Used it as a unit to take both cats to the vet. My only girl must have got scared and peed in him for the last time. It was easy to clean. The fabric comes detached from the bottom panels and is well washed. The foam insert is easy to wash, as is the inside of the stretcher. We haven't taken long trips since the accident but I let it air out for a few days after cleaning so hopefully the smell is gone for her (I don't smell anything). They enjoyed playing in it - hiding toys and chasing each other - while it aired. Overall I think it's spacious and comfortable for multiple animals. Fits great as a double unit on my back seat (HRV). I love how easy it is for cats to get in and stay inside and that they can stretch out and sit up straight. Only downside: the first time around, the zip was a bit tricky when clipping the blocks together, but I've gotten a lot better at it - long arms help. The top doesn't line up perfectly with either piece, which is just atheistic but touches on my ODC tendencies. And the top is soft so you can't dump anything on it, and if you're carrying a lot of weight (a 20lb litter box in my case) then the carrier will stretch/fold a little on top. The bottom stays solid and flat and the grip is well attached so not a deal breaker.
