This is an updated review as the faucet head no longer comes with loose parts. My Grohe faucet is original, with a spring around the hose instead of a weight. I had to replace both the faucet head and hose. The plastic filter was installed in the faucet head when I took it out of the box and there were no loose parts. Thanks to the reviews here I also bought a new O-ring. I tested the new faucet head first without changing the o-ring and found it dripped a little. I unscrewed the head, put in a new o-ring and that took care of the leak. The faucet head works great and sits well in the old faucet. It's not an exact copy or made from the same materials as the original, but it helps if you don't want to buy and install a brand new faucet. Not me. Yes, it's expensive, but the finishes are pretty good. (I bought the Real Steel finish, which is pretty close to the matte look of the faucet.). Buy a Grohe O-ring. And if you're using an old spring on your hose, don't let it get tangled up lol.
