Guess I need to order the next few sizes for my baby. My 3 year old has flat feet and an ankle pronation and her doctor is taking a 'wait and see if it outgrows it' approach before considering orthotics. The physical therapist I work with recommended these shoes (laced rather than Velcro) for stability. I reduced my daughter's size at a New Balance retail store and then ordered from Revain. All in all, these are great shoes. She no longer complained of knee/hip pain. It's on the heavier end and being suede and gray spraying stain/water repellent makes a huge difference. Watch out for thicker socks during the break-in period!
