My 3 year old daughter wears AFOs and they fit PERFECTLY! She usually wears 8" shoes with suspenders so I ordered 9" wide and they are PERFECT and enough of them. I didn't even have to remove the bottom soles to adjust them. Colorful and light. Great shoes!

I ordered a very wide size 4 shoe for my 10 year old. I was worried they were too big but he has wide feet and high arches and feels uncomfortable in most shoes. This shoe is perfect. My son's feet are so wide that even a wide model is too narrow for him. Obviously others buy this extra wide model because of the extra space for orthopedic braces, so I thought it might be too wide. We go through about 5 couples a year, not counting the instances when their legs suddenly grow back. Given the low income, it's always nice when we can find New Balance shoes not only at a great price, but also in the wide/extra wide style/color that they like. She gets teased enough for wearing braces, but a new pair of shoes always makes her feel good.
