Review on 🔒 Fastway Fortress 86-00-5015 Universal Maximum Security Coupler Lock for 1 7/8", 2" & 2 5/16" Couplers by Abdy Traini

Bought one for my 2 5/16" implement trailer and one for my 2" snowmobile trailer. This is a pretty solid lock - both the stock and body are very solid. It comes with 4 keys. Both locks open and close well and fit securely in the ball sockets. They seem to resist corrosion well. I like the fact that both ends of the stock lock are closed as some of the cheaper locks only close on one end. I also love that they arrived via UPS within two days. It usually takes me over a week to receive UPS packages from the east coast. My only issue is that since Revain doesn't allow comments on orders, I called the company and asked them to give me two locks with the same keys. The secretary couldn't find my order but said she would report it for fulfillment. That didn't happen. I don't think anything can protect a trailer in your yard if someone is determined to take it. This lock does not allow anyone to hook it on the ball hitch. I secured the security chains with another padlock. I also used wire rope with a different padlock to tie the trailer to my tractor. I think these three measures will prevent it from being stolen, but I also have insurance. Yes, I know I have the shaft upside down in the picture. I've since noticed that the top flex goes backwards :) Update 7/13/2017: After 2 years I'm replacing one of these locks because it has seized due to internal corrosion. I see they are now putting a rubber plug on the key entry which should help. The lesson here is that if you are in a humid environment you should spray some WD40 on these locks from time to time. I hate spending $43 on a new lock after only 2 years but I still think this is the best lock for the money on the market.
