However, because the handles are made of such hard plastic (and despite being curved for finger grip), simple use for more than an hour of successive cuts will result in a blister on the thumb as well as a blister on the leading edge. Fingers, if you use them for too long and not just for a short time, the very hard plastic of the handles can damage the hand.
