Sharp pointed this out. but!

Nicely packaged, sturdy construction, sharp with protected ends. .NO, they don't close completely. An extra piece of plastic between the handles (looks like it's there for a reason. (Yes, so the tips don't get covered!) A bit of sandpaper for that nipple and/or other body parts _ it deserves the point protectors now, *and a 5 star rating* They are sharp and better built than Fiskars Give a 2 for a design flaw?Somebody needs to road test the final product.

Although these scissors are sold in packs of 4, they have become very eye-catching.

I thought it was a good deal as I can embroider collages and cut my designs with precision scissors every day. And this is first of all excellent scissors for sharp cuts with precise tips. However, because the handles are made of such hard plastic (and despite being curved for finger grip), simple use for more than an hour of successive cuts will result in a blister on the thumb as well as a blister on the leading edge. Beautiful and sharp, uncomfortable to hold

When the pointed ends are together and closed, the other end of the scissors will usually touch, letting you know you're at the end of the scissors' cutting length.
