When I took them out of the box I was a bit confused and thought the handle was defective. It is positioned backwards to save space during transport. It wasn't too difficult to take off and flip, and cleaning the blades is very easy! They just slide out and back in. So far I've used medium and small blades and they work great! I've made zucchini noodles and carrot noodles for salad and to be honest it was WAY easier than I expected. The pressure you need to apply is minimal and the suction works fantastic! I have marble countertops so maybe that matters (some people have said the suction doesn't work); Make sure the surface you are holding it on is absolutely clean and free of any small crumbs or other things. If you're harvesting zucchini/carrots for pasta, make sure they're at least mostly straight and know you'll most likely need to cut them in half. The only sad part is that when you cook the pasta, you lose about 1/8 inch of the veggies. I'm not sure how this is fixed in other models; I'm pretty sure every pasta maker like this will have this problem. All in all a fantastic product, very durable, easy to clean, easy to use and most of all FUN! I'm very glad I got this and looking forward to making pasta with other veggies!
