worked very well for 3-4 months. I used it with an NVIDIA graphics card to connect a second display to my computer. About a month ago the secondary monitor I connected it to would turn off for a few seconds before turning back on and would do so about every minute. Until I unplugged the adapter from the computer and plugged it back in. I swear I had to do this every time I turned on my computer. I know it wasn't the monitor because I was trying to detach it from the monitor more easily instead of getting on all fours to detach it from the computer. and it's definitely not a graphics card, so I'm narrowing that down to an adapter. This adapter works, but I recommend spending a little more money for a more reliable adapter. I just turned on my computer and the monitor doesn't recognize the connection at all. I may need to restore my computer to a previous state to fix the problem, which is probably an adapter created. (2 days later) However, I recently contacted support about my issues and they went out of their way to please me with a new, hopefully better working, product. I respect their efforts and soon received a new item hoping the original I had was just defective. Well within a month the replacement they sent me gave the same problem. I am now forced to buy another product.
