Review on Adjustable Bracket for Planet Bike Quick Cam Handlebar by Robert Pierce

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive piece of plastic but works well with all PB headlights.

It's expensive for a small piece of plastic, but it's a lot cheaper to buy one for each of your bikes and move the light to whatever you're going to ride that day than to buy a light that you can always leave on any bike. This mount is very easy to install and very easy to use. For added security, even the mount itself is fairly easy to remove and replace if you lock your bike somewhere other than your own garage. I don't usually do this, but it's not difficult or time consuming for those who don't. want to risk their mount. The downside to this convenience is that the mount can be easily stolen if left on the bike - I think I'd prefer something that locks in place with a standard screw and bolt, like pretty much every other part of my handlebars. installed toy. Some Planet Bike lights are heavy on the nose. This can cause the light to fall or otherwise shift as it hits a bump or moves across an uneven surface. However, it's the light that's to blame, not the mount: lamps that aren't that heavy on your nose don't cause this problem. Play/slip can be corrected by using a rubber washer cut from an old inner tube between the mount and the bike handlebars (or whatever you attach it to).
