Wow! This table exceeded my expectations in every way. I believe these tables are handmade; Mine was a little darker than the picture. Here is my reaction to this table. First, this table is made of wood. I mean it's all wood. Solid wood carved from wood. I haven't seen particleboard, chipboard, or MDF anywhere on it, even underneath it. As soon as you unpack it, your house will smell like wood, so get ready. Secondly, given the packaging they provide, they have to assume that it will be dropped from the back of several trucks. There's foam padding, cardboard padding, and more foam padding. For a table that should look aged, they seem to be very concerned about scratches and dents along the way. Third, assembly was very easy. A total of 12 sets of screws, lock washers and flat washers were installed using the supplied Allen key and I had a solid, attractive table in front of my sofa.
