We had a clog in our bathtub drain that nothing else could clear. We decided to try this as a last resort before calling the plumber. It worked very well. One important thing you should do is watch a YouTube video on using a drum drill bit before attempting it. The instructions on the packaging are not very clear. You really have to hand feed the snake and the entire drum spins to create motion that clears the blockage. After initial confusion when using it, it took us less than 15 minutes to unclog and now we don't have to stand in a pool of water to shower! Definitely worth the price even with poor directions.
