I wore this pedometer to work to keep track of how far I walked. Now that I'm retired, I wear it while doing housework and gardening to see how much I move. So it's kind of a reality check for me to move more. I have the perfect place to walk as my husband has mowed the path around our property and I am not bothered by traffic or other dogs except my dogs who are happy to walk with me so they can check on the critters, that come after hours. I find this pedometer to be about as accurate as anything I've used. Just put it on (I find it works best directly on the pelvic bone), switch it on and go. I used to count 100 steps to see how accurate they were and found I was only 2-5 steps wrong and since I'm not a fan of every step this works great for me. It also helps motivate me to exercise more when I see that I'm not setting running records. Overall I'd say this is a pretty good little meter for the price.
