I like V-Tech phones - this is probably the 4th or 5th phone I've bought from this brand in the last 15 years. In general, I like the phone - it looks beautiful, connects instantly, Bluetooth works. It imports the contact list from the phone (displayed as a separate list in the phone). 2 out of 3 phones work fine and the batteries (with bluetooth on) last for days. Maybe even 4-5 days but I'm not sure as I've only had the phone for a few weeks and don't let it fully discharge before returning it to the charger. One problem - one of the tubes doesn't hold a charge for more than 20-25 minutes if you remove it from the base fully charged. I read another review that pointed out the same problem and this person said that he let the battery drain a few times and fully charge it in between, which fixed the problem. I tried that and it made no difference. At the same time I thought maybe the battery was defective, so I bought a new one, but that didn't matter either. I've also tried charging it on a different base just in case the base is defective, but that didn't work either. As I've already gotten rid of my old phone it would have been very difficult to assemble the whole system and send it back for a replacement and also pay for shipping so I just bought a phone (pretty cheap and not too expensive) to go with it to add to the system, and I'll put the broken one in a drawer in case one of the others breaks. Future. It works for making calls, but you have to leave it on the base at all times, which defeats the purpose of a cordless phone. So basically it's good for the phone system as a whole; 1 minus for a defective handset.
