Review on Spa-Like Soak Anywhere: Inflatable Portable Bathtub for Small Spaces - Hot Tub, Ice Bath & Freestanding Tub for Shower & Adults by John Salleh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It is portable and ideal for camping. I'm 6ft tall and can barely see over the edge

Bought this here along with a 1.3GPM propane water heater elsewhere and a 100ft garden hose along with a 12V water pump at 1.3 GPM. I love camping but I hate the smell and after a few days in the woods I want a hot shower. So I pulled it out of the bag, it has 4 stiffening bars on the sides and an inflatable rim, plus an insert that doubles as a suitcase with a hole for your head and hands and also gives support under the rim. I set it up outside my RV, installed a propane water heater and showerhead in a tree next to it, ran two 50-foot garden hoses about 60 feet from that icy river, and built a 12-volt battery powered pump. battery for car. I can prepare a bath in 15 minutes. Vacationers around me were very jealous and also longed for a hot shower. What I make her do 'cause I'm so cute. One thing that got me out of the woods and home early was a hot bath or shower. For less than $150 I have a complete hot water system and endless plumbing. It was easy to set up and take down and comes with a storage bag built in the drain with about 2ft of inner tube and a rim pump which is the only thing that inflates. You can also connect it to the water supply at home like a garden hose. However, if the feed water is not under pressure, like in a lake or river, you must use a pump. I chose a DC powered unit because I can use solar energy to charge the batteries and I don't have extra power in my RV system. My lights and most of my electronics are now solar powered, and previously I had to run a gas generator. drawing from my main gas tank. I use a 20 lb propane tank which is still pretty full. I've used the shower 20 times, for about 30 minutes each time. It only heats water when the switch on the shower head is on.
