We bought this refurbished for Christmas and it was great for the first 2 1/4 months, absolutely amazing, then the sound deteriorated to a slow, distorted sound, den we can not understand - there is clearly something with the volume control - completely useless. Thing is, it's sporadic so it's entirely possible that it was "distorted" to the first owner, but when they sent it back there was nothing wrong upon inspection - at least I think so. We refurbished it Bought it and it was great and then the audio nonsense started - again intermittently - I hope they fix it and make it back for sale because we love the computer and would buy it again if it was fixed properly.
