Worked well but needed adjustment.

The plastic block on the end of the lever (which pulls the lever away from the glass when going into the "park" position) was not quite right and did not allow the lever to fully park, which prevents the tailgate from opening. A few seconds on the sander and a few more with the heat gun fixed everything, but it shouldn't have taken that much effort.
