Would have thought for the price it would have steel bows but no it has fiberglass and they do not hold up in the wind the least little wind it folds over itself , may be fine for the lake or pool but does not work on the beach ! Do not buy

The umbrella was just what we were looking for and is sturdy. I have not tried it alone but recommend purchasing an umbrella holder for the sand. My disappointment lies in he lack of timeliness and customer service during shipping. It took over a month with numerous delivery dates being missed. My recommendation is to call regularly to ensure it is delivered.

We spend a lot of time at/in our pool in the summer. Most pool umbrellas are terrible at actually blocking sunlight. I'm sure there is a reason for that that I am unaware of, but after six or eight hours, I like to be able to sit there and not get fried. BEWARE! One of the plastic ribs broke when we put the umbrella up for the first time. This umbrella is made of flimsy materials! The canvas and bag are nice but the overall design is poor. I am returning the broken unit and ordering a metal rib umbrella.

This is a terrific beach umbrella and hat is the heavy duty style that will stand up against the wind with proper anchor. Be sure to get an anchor.

Loved this umbrella! It provided adequate sun protection and was very sturdy in the wind. Most importantly, it was lightweight and easy to carry across the sand.

I would give this company or Ebay a 0 if I could. Umbrella came today. Box was not dented, but it looked like it had been opened and put back together again. I opened the box and saw a filthy (food and foot stains) Umbrella Carr Bag. I figured I would clean it, BUT, when I tried to open the umbrella, 5 spokes fell on my head. This umbrella looks just like the pic: bright color, scalloped edge and seems sturdy. The pole is wood and there is no crank; it’s the type you push up. Wasn’t difficult but if you are shorter in stature (I’m 5-10), it might hit cumbersome. The end has a point so you could easily put it in ground. The umbrella does not tilt (my own fault, I didn’t notice that in description) so if you need that feature…. All in all, it is a nice product.

Broke on the 2nd day of our beach trip. So disappointed. I paid more money so that didn’t happen. Buyer beware. Limited color options.

Lightweight (considering the old school ones) and holds up in the wind. Used this all summer in Cape May and was really impressed by the quality. I was hesitant at first, but given the more expensive option/brand, this one was a good choice and seems to be holding up well.

This beach umbrella is a complete waste of money. It's flimsy and easily topples over, even in mild winds. The ash wood pole looks nice but isn't sturdy enough to support the weight of the umbrella. The UV protection is decent, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about it. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable beach umbrella. Home and Kitchen should stick to lamps and shades. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I'm returning this garbage ASAP.

Over all it is ok but when the windblew it did not hold up like I expected. For the cost it should be able to hold up to the wind on the beach

The umbrella is sturdy and well made, stood up to couple of days of wind at the beach. It provided great shade and the fabric is heavy duty. The umbrella was also easy to put up and take down. We purchased an anchor and an auger to drill the sand for extra support, worked very well, worth the price.

Sturdy, made well, UV protection, big, price is right, everything I wanted. Will probably buy another one for beach next year 👍❤️⛱
