Review on MTC 1097 Manual Shift Knob by Sean Pierre

Right out of the box this knob had a sticky, sticky residue on the top, no doubt the glue used for the shift label. Pooh. After gentle cleaning with soap/water it got better but still felt weird. That being said, it's weighted and feels pretty massive, actually heavier than the original shift knob in my Z3 roadster. It installs very easily, just slide it over the shifter and push on the top to install properly. (Hope I got it right!) Seems to work fine and will work very well until I can find and afford an OEM replacement. I don't know how long it will last but I think for the price you can't go wrong.
