Otherwise the quality was good.

Was listed as fitting my particular vehicle but did not fit properly. It was too tight and I ended up breaking one of the inner tabs. Otherwise the quality was good.

Pros
  • Replacement Part OEM # 25-11-1-434-495
Cons
  • Exorbitant Price

Excellent low cost replacement

Fits my 88 E30 perfectly. Quality is excellent for the price ($15), although quality can be inconsistent according to other reviews. Fits well, looks great. A good thing.

Pros
  • Packaging width 14.9 cm
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Fits 1996 BMW Z3 - Body & Fairing

Fits my 96 BMW Z3 - the standard Z3 literally pulls out (needs to pull VERY hard) then this just slides straight in (then lay with palm down) fell hard several times). It's not super trendy, but the regular leather wears out over time, leaving black marks on the arm.

Pros
  • Packing length is 6cm
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Good replacement for the original shift knob (Z3 Roadster)

Right out of the box this knob had a sticky, sticky residue on the top, no doubt the glue used for the shift label. Pooh. After gentle cleaning with soap/water it got better but still felt weird. That being said, it's weighted and feels pretty massive, actually heavier than the original shift knob in my Z3 roadster. It installs very easily, just slide it over the shifter and push on the top to install properly. (Hope I got it right!) Seems to work fine and will work very well until I can find…

Pros
  • Item covered under warranty
Cons
  • Nothing
