I love this cooler! We used it on a long 2 week minivan trip. This has easily saved us over $500 in restaurant expenses, allowing us to save money and eat healthier by shopping for groceries every 1-2 days. It was enough to store milk, cheese, salads, yogurt, etc. We left it behind and the fan didn't bother anyone, nobody found it loud. It kept the food cold, and even if we left the car in fairly high heat for a couple of hours, the device kept the food cool enough. Maybe leaving it out for most of the day will warm up the food, but we've rarely left it out for more than 2-4 hours. We bought a power adapter which made it very easy to bring the unit to the hotel at night and plug it in. that's stupid. We just wear it all the time. The car started normally, the device worked perfectly.
