The pedals are great and beefy, the width makes them good candidates for people like me with wider running shoes, and the cleats provide enough grip to keep them going without puncturing the sole. But like all new pedals, they take a minute to spin easily. Their slim design also means you have to beware of accidental slips if your foot is off-centre. The bottom line is that they are great. new pedals at a good price, like all new pedals it takes a second to break in both yourself and the pedals. However, if you don't think about them or notice them, they do an excellent job.
