I give this game 5 stars for fun and quality! The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is to draw your attention to my review because after playing this game at my sister's house out of state I fell in love with it. We came home and ordered it ourselves and when we started playing we found that we had a different version of the game! My sister bought the anniversary canned version of this game which has MORE queens! And I believe there is another king. It has 6 more cards than this version. I was really sad when I found out about this because the other version has a "strawberry queen" that is immune to all sleeping potions and knights, so once you get the strawberry queen no one can steal it from you. This is an additional variant of the game that makes it even more fun! Since we don't have a strawberry queen in this version, we made the ladybug queen our "immune" queen so we can play with that extra catch. I really want to return this version and get another version. It's only about $2-3 for additional cards. It's worth it. It's easier to play in large groups of 4 or 5 when there are more queens. I know that with 4 players you only need 4 queens or 40 points to win, but then the game goes too fast. So we always find that trying to get 5 queens is a lot more fun. Sometimes we keep playing until all the queens are gone from the table or until someone has 7 or 8 queens if we only play two. When we played four players yesterday, there weren't enough queens, and even if 3 queens are multiplied by 4 people, there are already 12 queens. still missing queens! So take my advice and buy another version! If you're spending $10 on a game, spend a few more dollars and buy the larger version. I like that both versions of the game are small boxes and don't take up much space in the almost full game closet! List of Queens included in this version: 1. Rose Queen 2. Pancake Queen 3. We just played with two friends that first week of having the game and both friends ended up ordering their own versions, the larger versions of course. everyone loves it My husband comes home from work and wants to play, my 6 year old wants to play, it's great for everyone.
