Might as well be a wooden racquet

Just missed the return deadline on this product but will definitely come back and refrain from buying if you're trying to play consistently. The outer material is not very durable - almost like ceramic or plaster. I play 2-3 times a week and have tried many rackets. This is a very high price compared to what you could get at a similar price. Simple pros and cons: Pros: - The textured surface really helps with turning. You can get some great stunt shots. WHEN you hit the target - the honeycomb grip is awesome. - built-in edge protection - it's cool. Does it help or hinder the sweet spot? The jury is out. Disadvantages: - The sweet spot is not as big as advertised. Shots that land anywhere other than the center die or fly depending on the power of the shot. Dink's shots are inconsistent and the core of the rudder absorbs nothing. If you try to slow down a powerful punch, it will immediately pop out and give your opponent meatballs. If you're trying to land a low-trajectory shot without having the perfect drop shot, this racquet will send it wide. This paddle can also be made of wood. No Forgiveness – As mentioned, the outer material is plaster-like and chips easily. - Tried to contact Gamma directly, but no response. Overall I like the texture of the face and the grips and that's about it. I hope Gamma Sports will read this and let me come back. I'm just not happy with my purchase. UPDATE: I emailed Gamma directly. Still no answer.
